Peterson Okopi, a fast-rising gospel music recording artist/minister, has won “The Discovery Of The Year Gospel Artist In Africa” category at the just concluded “CLIMA Africa Awards 2021.” Top gospel music performers, gospel entertainment promoters, politicians, and government dignitaries were in attendance at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city. Moses Bliss, Yadah, GUC, and others were nominated alongside Peterson Okopi.
Peterson Okopi, whose debut album, “Osuba,” has received widespread exposure on TV and radio stations around the world and has been on Apple’s top 100 Songs and Albums since its release in May 2021, has become a phenomenon and household name in the Gospel Music market outside of Nigeria.
He’s signed to TWC Records and plans to spread the gospel all across the world. CLIMA Awards, which stands for “CHRISTIAN LEGENDARY AND IMPACT MAKERS IN AFRICA,” is one of Nigeria’s oldest and most reputable gospel entertainment award organizations.
In their own small way, the organizers have positioned themselves to praise and encourage Nigerian gospel entertainers.
