Finally, Minister Sam, a gospel music singer, has released a single titled “AKPODOH” in his native language (If Not).
The song is a traditional thanksgiving song from Akwa Cross in Nigeria’s south-south region, and it simply means “If it weren’t for the Lord, who was on our side…”
Minister Sam is known for his soft-tune praise/worship songs, which are mostly written in English. However, he decides to include “AKpodoh,” a praise song written in his Ibibio language, which will make you want to dance on your feet and sing “Akpodo idoho Afo…”
