Bolaafola, a Nigerian Gospel music minister based in the United Kingdom, has released a new single named “Freedom.”
The song “Freedom” says that when we hold on to the finished work of Jesus and experience the knowledge of that truth, we are set free from Satan’s tyranny, which is typical of Bolaafola’s use of a declarative theme that symbolizes the proclamation of her faith. On this record, Bolaafola experiments with Pop instrumentation.
She has previously experimented extensively with her sound, moving from AfroGospel to Contemporary music, Reggae, and, most recently, Pop music. The tone and atmosphere are joyous, celebratory, grateful, and, of course, happy.
“The delight of being at liberty, free to be joyous despite apparent hurdles, knowing full well that we are fighting from a position of victory,” explains the song’s composer. Illnesses and other issues are no longer an issue.
“‘Stand fast in the liberty that Christ has given us, and do not be caught again with the yoke of slavery.'” 5:1 – Galatians

She released the single “God of Miracles” in December 2020. It was a follow up on the EP “I Shall Not Die.” Bolaafola is also the CEO of Bola’s Place; a beauty and style outfit in London.
